Webinars & Workshops
I enjoy presenting on webinars and at workshops. Each format encourages audience interaction, which makes the learning more enjoyable for all parties. I typically present on the following topics:
- Changes in the legal profession and the impact on the business and the practice of law
- Legal Project Management, Business Process Improvement and Alternative Fee Arrangements
- Marketing and business development techniques that generate new work and customer loyalty
- Consultative selling in a law firm environment
- Technology supporting marketing and business development
- The use of social media to generate visibility and demonstrate credibility
I adhere to the following guidelines when participating in a webinar or workshop:
- I do not sell in a webinar or workshop. Ever.
- To educate and inspire attendees, I often make provocative statements.
- I prefer to engage the audience in an interactive dialog rather than merely talk at them.
- I don’t rely on Powerpoint to get my message across. Much of the value of my presentations lies in my remarks and is not captured in the supporting materials.
